about

Rings is the debut album from Berlin-based recording artist and multi-instrumentalist Cameron Hassard.

A mergence of styles, the seven track album was written and designed as a set listening piece, punctuated by Morricone-esque spaghetti western interludes, apocalyptic surf guitars, wailing saxophone, rousing orchestral lifts, gut-punching rock beats and Hassard’s own dulcet baritone pulsing the overarching narrative.

A writer by trade, Hassard’s lyricism carries the album’s storylines: tunes that chart the mythic, the elemental, and the geo-politically relevant.

Rings was produced and recorded at Berlin’s Famous Gold Watch Records by Cameron James Laing (Universal), and is set for release January 8 under the studio’s eponymous Record Label.
